Full of twists and turns that are unexpected this book captured me from the first chapter. Highly recommended!

It is obviously very well read but the characters are not very three dimensional… during the thriller a lot of reactions (and also inner monologue) seem weird and constructed to serve the plot or to serve the fascination with details about medicine or the world of the ultra rich. The motivations are kind of left behind…

Would not have made the book club

Good thriller, not too bloody or cruel for my personal taste. The plot could be more gripping and multi-faceted. I do enjoy touches on modern-time issues, eg organs donation, transplants, medical novelties, and associated crimes.

Suspenseful, thrilling

The plot is so inconsistent and far from believable. So many holes in the plot, I lost count. Wouldn’t want to spoil it for anyone who still wants to give this book a try, but for example - If you have a woman who “tricked” her husband that she doesn’t speak English then repeatedly speak to someone who only speaks English in a room full of people and security staff and that goes unnoticed… this is just bad writing..
Can’t unhear whiny high-pitched voice of Reese Witherspoon. The scenes that were meant to be dramatic and sensitive became cringy and laughable.
