a must read!!!! UNBEDINGT anhören!!!!
This audiobook is a MUST LISTEN for every woman (AND every man indeed). I recognized many situations and feelings, Sheryl described and it is kind of comforting to know that I am not unique in feeling this way. Her explanations are truly vivid and great. It made myself shiver to read that e.g. woman are promoted according to their achievements and men are promoted according to their potential. And honestly: his is strange wise so true!
And: why do we woman only apply for job where we believe to fit 100% whereas men do apply once they believe they fit circa 60%?! Same here … achievement and potential differences … I am surprised and shocked by this and will try to be one of the drivers for change here!
I honestly have already listened to the book twice and can only recommend to all of you to do that. Once to listen to be surprised - second time to learn :-)
LOVE this book and can undoubtedly recommend it!

Ein Muss Fuer Jederfrau und Jedermann
A must for every woman (and every man).
An amazing book, and after listening only a few chapters - I already felt myself understood in so many situations - which is kind of comforting knowing that you are not the only person (woman) feeling like that. . . Her explanations/stories are great. It makes yourself more self conscious and I believe this sets you up for better success. You realize that it might NOT be your personal fault that things go the way they go, but the perception the world (including woman) have of woman striving to succeed.
Haven't even entirely finished listening to it, however already thinking of listen to it again from the start!

nice speaker, great topic, wonderful message!
Sheryl Sandberg gibt uns einen sehr interessanten und seltenen Einblick in die Top Unternehmen des Silicon Valley und in die Arbeitswelt in der Techbranche. die Statistiken der Gender Gap in der Arbeitswelt haben mich total überrascht und teilweise schockiert, sodass ich verstehen kann, wieso so ein Redebedarf zu diesem Thema hat. İhr Schreibstil ist empathisch, humorvoll und authentisch. ich habe es genossen, auch die Sprecherin ist top.

Inspiring and insightful: a must read

Eye-opening and motivating
Inequality between both gender still exists, the generations before us fought against institutional discrimination. Now, that laws and the economy allow women to have equal opportunities, it's time to finish with social discrimination. Women are still discouraged from pursuing high success, the reasons are diverse and many times discreet. This book opens a conversation about these factors and their effect on the women lives and careers.
