the author points out the fears and struggles women face at the workplace.
It is wonderful to hear, how she managed career and family despite fearing not to be present enough at home.
Further I liked the simple but true statement about how to find the perfect partner - I can only agree looking at my partner or my father.
Also loved, how she states the importance of male role models in the family and how kids benefit from both parents being present in their life, instead of only the mother being the primary care giver.

My very first book on audible and I finished listening to it within 2 days. Sheryl is a natural story teller, her success story is so popular, one may feel related especially for women who are also career oriented. A breath of fresh air for feminism movement in such an applicable way. She illustrated each point with multi perspective real life examples and interesting findings. I'm motivated after reading it and took many notes for myself. It is one of the book that I could remember what it's about and enthusiastically discuss with others!

The narrator did a great job! The book is amazing to read and to listen to! I warmly recommend this book for every man and woman (yes, it is not only a book for women!)

Inspiring and insightful: a must read

It was a bit of a timetravel into a world before Covid, before widespread work from home options. And a reminder that even with those options the underlying challenge is still there: many highly educated and ambitious women leave their careers and very few ever get into a position of power. Technology changes, society and social norm much less so, and those pose the bigger obstacle.
