A comprehensive overview of animal rights

I love this book and the capabilities approach to animal justice. This is what is needed and the approach as well as legal standing and fiduciary arrangements should be what we are striving for. The book helped me understand the different ideas about animal justice. I do not one hundred percent agree with the distinction between sentient and non sentient animals as I believe that we understand too little about some species and I am deeply convinced that even a fly is striving and I see a connection between striving and sentience but maybe there is just more research needed. If the awareness of many people would go in the direction of Martha Nussbaum”s argument, a lot would change in this world. I think this book helps profoundly to understand also what needs to be done. Many thanks for such a wonderful book.
