You can never go wrong with reading, hearing or watching Ruth Goodmans work. Detailed and in-depth but easy to follow, sometimes funny, often surprising, always a joy. This one especially is a treasure worth a few re-readings (or listenings), the light and understandable tone betrays the massive amount of information that was just too much to handle at the first time. Or maybe that's just me having learned English as a second language and struggling a bit with the occasional Tudor English vocabulary :)
