Am relevantesten
This is definitely a long one, but it went by remarkably quickly. Even though the topic wasn’t entirely new to me, I found this neither dull nor overwhelming, but overall much more enjoyable than I thought I would.
The narrator is also doing a decent job (apart from struggling with foreign names or quotes), but I thought the production might have been more professional - to give just two examples: you can tell exactly which parts have been rerecorded, and in the very short introduction by the publisher, they actually say Catherine Pratt (instead of Parr).

Well written and entertaining, it felt almost like a novel. This book gives insight on Henry the VIII's character & what moved him to act as he did. But also, and importantly, it puts the 6 women who married him and navigated a trecherous environment in the spotlight, showing who they were their strenghts and weaknesses and how they carved out a path for thrmselves, even though only 2 survived him. Abdolutely recommend.
