Overall nice book , and a Version for this Genre that is different. best of all are the outtakes at the end of the book 😂

interesting Twist

- This would work much better as an actual game, as a book its story aspect is too weak.

- I don't like that so much focus is on game mechanics instead of exploring the differences between real life war and what one would expect out of a game.

- The way the protagonist loses his first battle is very unlikely since even I as a complete civillian could see at least 2 major flaws in his strategy.
1. he assumed the enemy needed his forward base to attack his main base
2. he didn't press his advantage in the terrain outside the forest to force the enemy to use up their ressources to stop him

- The gaming "advisor" is an insult to real gaming professionals.

ich war anfangs skeptisch als ich mir diesen titel gehohlt hab aber, auch wenn der prolog etwas verwirrend ist ergibt alles nach und nach sinn und ergibt eine spannende geschichte mit ihren eigenheiten
