Something refreshingly different. A sociopath as the evil main character, something new and very well written. You can easily put it all away and it remains exciting even though the MC is overpowered from the start

Well without any spoilers- the way our MC finds the fantasy world is ....new and surprisingly refreshing. The world building is great and characters are layered and not one dimensional - performance by the VA is outstanding ...yet on moments the story kinda feels more like filling rather than advancing the plot. Pacing is a b*** but other than that I loved it

Isekai...but no Truck-Kun

The book starts off well, but then gets lost in too many trivial details while the story feels like it isn’t progressing for hours.
The chapter-by-chapter POV switches to new characters that appear from the middle onward – characters who are only needed for the final part – make things even worse. It becomes exhausting to constantly familiarize yourself with new characters in the middle of a story you want to see moving forward, especially when they have no connection to the main plot yet and therefore struggle to spark any real interest.

The often unnecessary cruelty also makes it unexpectedly difficult at times to like the protagonist. Even though I know she’s supposed to be the villain of the story, it can still be surprisingly hard to deal with.

The voice actor, on the other hand, was consistently excellent and brought the story to life with great energy.

This book is 80% Exposition and 20% Action. If you enjoy hearing about a world and what happens in it from a narrator it's great.
The ideas/worldbuilding are decent and the MC is an absolute crazy madwoman which is very interesting, -When- there's dialogue it's amusing and witty, and peppered with references. amazing performances by the Narrator too, even if some accents and vocal ticks make repeat appearances for different characters.
That said, it really felt like it's testing my patience with the pacing. POV shifts are sudden and sometimes hard to place within temporal or plot relevant timelines.
This could be an amazing story but it feels flat and inexperienced from a literary standpoint.
