The way this book was read suited the general atmosphere and plot. People should however google the Trigger warnings not read aloud in the audiobook. Otherwise the rating for this book unfairly suffers the consequences of that.

Before I say anything about the story, I have to say something about the two narrators. I can't put into words how breathtaking their performance was. They're both so good that they could probably read me a washing machine manual and I'd love it! More from you two please!
To the book: the story is really exciting and you're captivated quickly. It alternates between the POV of the two main characters. For this reason, I could understand why it was written the way it was. You are immersed in the minds of people where you know at least one person has a SERIOUS behavioral disorder. So you shouldn't be surprised if the thoughts are violent, incomprehensible and sometimes simply cringe. For me, this is not a glorification of the actions, but merely a reflection of the characters' world of thought. In addition to the disturbed relationship between the characters, the story is also about solving a murder case and the power of really sick secret organizations. Nothing for weak nerves. I will definitely get the second part. The cliffhanger leaves no room for an other decision.

Ich beistehen den hype absolut null. Die Protagonistin ist sowas von langweilig und Z ist jetzt auch nicht so Spannend. Die side Story war ganz ok
