This book has everything! It’s exciting from start to finish. Countless plot twists, amazing writing style and the characters are like onions in every way possible. And the spicy parts- are extra spicy. I’ll start the next one from the series rn.

I really loved the story. Sometimes it was a little difficult to follow the storyline. But I must say there are a lot of plot twist in the Story so it stays exciting. I'm so curious about the second book.

The fantasies are not for everyone, so please look at the triggers before. I really enjoyed it and loved the narrators. The spice was so good but the storyline was more in the background because of all the scenes in it.

Die Autorin ist es gelungen von Anfang bis Ende Details - Informationen einzufügen die sich durch den weiteren Verlauf immer mehr als wichtig herausstellen. Kleinigkeiten bekommen Bedeutung und alles verläuft sich zum Ende in einander. Das hat mich sehr erstaunt. Die Spannung war kaum aushaltbar an manchen Stellen. Triggerwahnrung ist definitiv angebracht und wichtig! Spice 5/5 ! Handlung 5/5 Charakterdesign und Beschreibungen 3/5 (hätte mir ein bisschen mehr andere Beschreibung gewünscht)

I really liked listening to the book. I'm not into college romances but this one was good. I liked the narrators but the MMC sounds much older than he is in the story. Still... I enjoyed it.

So I can totally understand the comments “WTF did I just read there?”. 😅

In my opinion, the first books in stand-alone series always have the hardest time. With each subsequent book, you grow to love the world and the individual characters.

As it stands now? The series is absolutely overhyped! I was very, very curious because so many Booktokers recommend this series and the latest instalment has been announced.

I really like the concept of the lords and the secret society at college, and it's always a reason to read the book. However, I would have liked to have had much more information about it.

For the most part, Ryat just drugged Blake and had sex with her. So often that at some point I no longer knew whether she was sober or drugged.

Blake is also just naive and annoying for the first 50% of the book. When she had a brief unhinged moment, I finally started to like her.

Ryat is the typical unhinged, obsessive and over-the-top DR MMC. So women can't go wrong here if they like that.

The twists weren't really twists, so the course of the story is not surprising either.

The narrators have enhanced the story!

- spice war einfach nur noch langweilig
- Keine tension/chemistry zwischen den Protas
- Just some horny ass teenagers that act like douchebags
- Buch wird künstlich in die Länge gezogen -> hätte man auch auf 130 Seiten kürzen können anstatt so nen fetten Schinken zu schreiben
- The plot ain’t plotting
- Would’ve never finished the book because it was so boring, only pushed through the audiobook
- I felt physical harm while listening and had the feeling that I’m getting dumber
- Wollte schon bei chapter 11 abbrechen weil kranker non con and drugging
- No character development, no plot
- Plot meist absoluter Kindergarten und unnecessary dramatic (always the same, repeats)

the voices are so off.. the male mc is 27 and has an amazing voice, just not for a 27 year old.. the female mc has a voice thats so feeble-minded it hurts. The story is so boringly stupid. they act like the 27 year old holds more power than the older council members and that without having any powers... also the kinks are all over the place. i get the part with exploring but there is no connection to anything. its like they googled "most shocking kinks" without even understanding how to build them into the story. would not recommend... honestly i have the urge to buy this book just so i can burn it. if i could give 0 stars i would.
