I have read almost all the books by this talented author and I liked one better than the other. This story here is basically nice, but there is no chemistry at all between the main characters. And the three "hot" scenes were emotionless and boring. 3.5 stars just for this story.
But most of all, I didn't like the female narrator.
What a pity. It was just ridiculous how she tried to give the two main characters different voices. She also tried to "explain" the process of lovemaking emotionlessly instead of adding a bit of passion.
At the end, her narrative gets a little better. No more than 2 stars for Victoria Aston.
On the other hand, Cornel Collins was very good, as we have come to expect from him. In this second book, even Jerry's voice was excellent. Unfortunately, his narration parts were a lot less than V.A. Full 5 stars for him.
