KJ Charles is an author I have loved for a long time. This story was great, but the narration not so much, unfortunately, Toby's narrator was not as good as I would have wished. In parts, he was too fast and too uniform in his style, most sentences were read in a very lively voice that really does not fit everywhere.

KJ Charles can’t help but write the most sweet romances, especially between characters who should hate or at least dislike each other but just can’t stop making out. Loved it, 10/10, made my day.

I love her books very much, and this one dies not disappoint in plot or characters.
The narrator of Toby however- every emotional situation sounds the same. Whether the men talk with each other or whether Toby only talks to himself - it all sounds the same. Whether Toby is happy or sad or plotting -
It. All. Sounds. The. Same.
