I love Jacob Morgan‘s voice. The first book is better than the second but nevertheless Andi Arndt and Jacob Morgan do a really great job. I just listened to it all night long!

I binged the audio version of this Duet and my review is for both books “Falling out of Hate with you” and “Falling into Love with you”.

The Hate-Love Duet is such a beautiful, hella sexy, hot, sweet slow-burn rock star romance and is totally entertaining, just what I needed. Its enemies to lovers which is one of my favourite tropes. Laila Fitzgerald and Adrian Savage captured my heart, I did want to bang their heads together at times, but their back-and-forth banter made this so entertaining and fun. Their chemistry is sizzling, their undeniable lust and oh dear lord hate sex is hawt. There are some angsty and heart-breaking moments too with made me emotional, but it really is a feel-good story. Such a swoon fest.

What I loved loved loved about this duet as well is the music that delights our ears through the story. OMG, these songs are imprinted in my brain now, seriously going on a loop in my head. I feel I know the words by heart already. Those songs gave me goosebumps and had me tear up. Perfect for the stories setting. Lauren Rowe created something special here *Inserting heart-clutching emoji*

Talking about something special, the narration was performed by two of my favourites, Andi Arndt and Jacob Morgan. I just love these two together, all the emotions, fun, love, the teasing, the lusting, and dorkiness between the two main characters was just brought across perfectly.

This is the first time I read/listened to any of Lauren Rowe´s book, her work in general and I fluved how she brought this story to paper and made it so enjoyable. This won´t be the last time I read/listened to her books and this Duet makes me want to venture more into Lauren Rowe´s world.

I do recommend the audiobooks, firstly because, hey its Andi Arndt and Jacob Morgan, who are phenomenal as always and a delight to listen to and secondly you get to listen to these amazing songs which I am in love with already. I still have goosebumps and my heart flutters listening.
