I just have to disagree with the other review about the pacing, I didn't notice any weirdness with the pacing or it slowing down at all. I struggle sticking with books and I rushed through it tbh. I was a bit pissed at the mm for going off on my girl not once but twice and after realizing his though process was the issue not apologizing bc it was fucked up imo. Nonetheless very sweet people

Starts out promisingly but after the first 10 chapters, the story starts dragging. Perhaps it picks up again after chapter 20 but I didn't care enough by then to continue listening.

The narrators both did a good job.

I loved to be put back into the same world where we met 22 Goats and all the other characters, but just a bit earlier so there are no spoilers for e.g. Smitten. But there are some spoilers in this book regarding the Kat & Josh trilogy so of you want to read that, do the Kat & Josh trilogy first.
That being said, the MMC is a bit annoying, I don't like his impatience at all. Besides that the story is quite cute, how two families morph into one and how they learn to love each other despite their pasts. But also be aware that this book is very smutty, at least 50% of the book is just explicit scenes...
Anyway I am curious about the next book, so I am going to give it a try.
