Dr Ruth Galloway, forensic archaeologist, spends a lot of time looking at death. But now death has found her, with the news that her long-time friend Dan Golding has been killed in a house fire.

An amazing series. Why start spoiling it with that annoying narrator after 4 books read perfectly by Jane McDowell? i could hardly bear witnessing clare corbett messing up the book like that. Had to stop listening. Very sad.

The readers changing of voice for the different charakters is hardly not to bare. It spoils the book immensly

Die Geschichte ist gut. Passt.
Aber ich vermisse die smoothe, angenehme Stimme von Jane McDowell.

Clare Corbet kann auch lesen, aber die verstellten Stimmen!? Die Lesestimme (normale Stimmlage) ist angenehm. Die verstellten Stimmen sind sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig und die Männerstimmen awful!! Man kann fast nicht zuhören. Es dauerte lange, bis ich mich einigermassen daran gewöhnt hatte. Alle Männer scheinen bigott oder scheintot. Gruselig.

Mit dieser Sprecherin ist mir leider die Freude an der Ruth Galloway Serie genommen worden.
Unmöglich, der Versuch als Frau Männerstimmen zu sprechen.
Sollte man (Sie) lassen.
Werde es wohl kaum durch den gesamten Titel schaffen.
