Über diesen Titel

A neurodivergent's guide to embracing your true self and finding your happily ever after.

Growing up, Chloé Hayden felt like she'd crash-landed on an alien planet where nothing made sense. Eye contact? Small talk? And why are you people so touch-oriented? She moved between 10 schools in 8 years, struggling to become a person she believed society would accept, and was eventually diagnosed with autism and ADHD. When a life-changing group of allies showed her that different did not mean less, she learned to celebrate her true voice and find her happily ever after.

This is a moving, at times funny story of how it feels to be neurodivergent as well as a practical guide, with advice for living with meltdowns and shutdowns, tips for finding supportive communities and much more.

Whether you're neurodivergent or supporting those who are,  Different, Not Less will inspire you to create a more inclusive world where everyone feels like they belong.

Chloé Hayden is an award-winning actor and disability advocate, motivational speaker and social media influencer whose story of being 'different, not less' has attracted a worldwide following. She stars as Quinni in Heartbreak High, the Netflix remake of the iconic Australian series.

It was its cover that drew me to this book, and I'm so happy that I discovered it through that! This book is simply amazing – it's educational, entertaining, candid, activist, and encouraging. And it's also read by the author in a great way. Thank you so much, Chloé Hayden!

Just WOW!

Ein Fehler ist aufgetreten. Bitte versuche es in ein paar Minuten noch einmal.

Hearing another person with autism, speak openly about her life, identity, struggles and successes made me think more than I thought. It is be a lonely place; being given and scilenced in a diagnosis. People with autism owning their narrative is utterly important, and so was this book. I hope that one day I’ll too find the courage to do so.

An important voice and perspective

This is an important and informative book for anyone, especially neurodivergent people & their family, friends/ support circle.

I loved that Chloé was the narrator of her book and as someone of who suspects that they have gone their entire life as an undiagnosed autistic person, I found this book extremely helpful and validating.

A big thanks to Chloé for sharing her experience!
