Am relevantesten

Die Geschichte selbst hätte meiner Meinung nach viel Potential etwas zu erzählen. Relevante Ideen oder Gedanken über das Menschsein und das Miteinander. Über die Entwicklung unserer Gesellschaften, unserer Spezies.
Das passiert aber leider nicht.
Es ist eine persönliche Geschichte der Protagonistin, ohne Konsequenz, ohne Moral, ohne Essenz.
Ohnmächtig beschreibt nicht nur die Protagonistin, sondern auch diese Geschichte.

Das finde ich sehr schade. Die Prämisse, die Welt, die die Autorin erschaffen hat, hat durchaus sehr interessante Ansätze und Potential interessante und tiefe Geschichten zu erzählen. Das passiert aber leider nicht.

Die zwei einzigen Aspekte, die einen Ansatz von Exkurs aus der Bedeutungslosigkeit bringen, sind die möglichen positiven Aspekte von Krebs bei Einsatz entsprechender Technologie (kommt zu kurz) und die an victom-blaming grenzende Beschreibung von nicht einvernehmlichem Sex (zu wenig Auseinandersetzung dafür, dass das in Prinzip der Geschichte und der Protagonistin ihren Abschluss geben soll).

Die Sprecherin ist für meinen Geschmack 99% der Zeit viel zu monoton um dann halbsätzige Ausfälle zu haben.
Es ist schwierig in Dialogen die Charaktere auseinander zu halten, vor allem da sie manchmal die Intonation vertauscht. Vermutlich weil sie selber nicht mitbekommen hat wer gerade spricht.

Alles in allem sehr mittelmäßig. Nicht schlecht, Acer bei weitem auch nicht gut.
Nichts für das ich nochmal Zeit aufbringen möchte.
