I was beginning to think that this series is doomed, but this book is a big jump in quality in comparison to the book before this one. The story has some structure back and doesn't jump around at random most of the time. Most of the important characters also get their fair share of time allocated. Here's hoping the following books can hold or improve the quality.

I appreciate the interesting setting and especially that technology is a big part of the story. I love how Regan grows stronger and is overpowered. I also like his character in general.

I would recommend creating less characters since it is easy to get confused after a while/not grow attached to them. I think it would be better to focus on fewer characters but develop them more.

I am excited to listen to the spin off. A darker setting is always good;)
