I love Liz Gilbert's voice to begin with. The content of the book is helpful to me since I am getting married again soon. The research on marriages in different countries are very interesting.

Elizabeth Gilbert has the enviable ability to turn everyday musings (and the occasional not-so-everyday experience) into poetry. Her actual voice is as soft and dreamy as her narrative voice. One can only hope she will continue to record her audiobooks herself — no one speaks quite like Liz.

I plan to work my way through all her books now and can hardly wait.

Elizabeth Gilbert takes us on a wild journey, dissecting the institution of mariage through time and space. Going myself through a divorce, I found this book extremely interesting and could relate to her impression on the whole ordeal of marriage and relationships. I am a huge fan of this author and really enjoyed listening to her voice on my way to work every day.
