Ein Endzeit Road-Trip durch Neu-England. Düster, blutig und beängstigend. Für King's Verhältnisse knapp gefasst. Spannend und mitreissend. In kurzer Zeit mit Genuß gehört.

Durch und durch spannende Story, die sicherlich endlos hätte weitergehen können, aber irgendwann zum Ende kommen muss, King wählt ein offenes Ende, so kann sich jeder für sich ausmahlen, wie es enden soll…, sehr zu empfehlen.

Gute story mit plötzlichem Ende

First off all, I would give 10 stars, if possible. 'Cell' is by far the best work by King in years. It's a mixture of a zombie and SiFi novel. The story begins fast and is very exciting. King let you feel the pain of the characters, when something happens and involves you into the story. Real good!
The narrator is good as always on a Stephen King audio book.

I confess: for some time I feated that Mr. King had lost IT.
Shame on me ! This epic novel proves me wrong in the most pleasant way.
The story starts with a loud bang, and from there on doesnŽt slow down even for a minute. Just one word: MORE

A believer...again

Ginge es um die ersten 95% des Buches würde ich die volle Punktzahl geben. Eine geniale Geschichte. Eine Mischung aus "The Stand" und "I am Legend". Allerdings haben mir die letzten Minuten wirklich den Spaß versaut. 12.25 Minuten lang konnte ich nicht abwarten wie es weiter geht und dann kommt kein Abschluss, es gibt einfach keinen. Das Buch hört einfach auf, keine Auflösung, keine Erklärung, kein gar nix. Auf einmal ist das Hörbuch zu Ende und man sitzt da und schaut doof. Eigentlich könnte das Ende ein Cliffhänger sein, nur ist das eigentlich kein Art von Stephen King. Wirklich schade, aber er läßt einen wirklich in der Luft hängen.
