Wynne might have been human once. It's hard to say.

Of course, the place is a bit wrecked. And the world outside is in ruins. And he's pretty sure that whoever put him here is going to come looking for him at some point. And then there's the raiders....

Good but with room for improvement

Well made characters, without Haremstuff or egotrips, so that alone is a +.
But the novel is just an introduction into the world: many story-arcs, only a few touch each other, many questions, hardly any answered. Worthy to Look at the second book, but in itself not very satisfying.
