Loved every Minute. the Hunor of Alexis is great. the Story is very exciting with lots of plot twists. The tension between the protagonists is insane. I am addicted and can not wait until the next book!

I loved Alexis but the male characters (4 mane ones) were too much in my opinion. I did not like a single one. They have almost the exact same characteristics and I do not get Kharon and Augustus's relationship. I seems they are partners because they are the only other two chtonics .🙄 The twists and reveals at the end were great. The pacing was perfect.

Alexis's inner monologs are one of the best I have ever read (herad)!! Can't wait for book 2.

Die Hauptfigur hat mich durch ihren Charakter mehrmals zum Lachen gebracht was mich sehr gefreut hat.
Ich habe die Geschichte wirklich genossen und freue mich auf das nächste Buch.

Eine Angabe das es mehr wie einen Mann in ihrem Leben gibt sollte es jedoch geben.

- bad world building (nonsensical hardships to show how very bad the world is, but non of that creates a cool distopia but just a poorly designed world)
- plot is very transparent but the mc doesn't have a clue
- all grown male characters have functionally the same lame 'bad boy' character
- the mc has the emotional debth of an 13 year old
- all other female characters are stupid... wtf an invisible horny snake as a sidekick?!
- the MC has no agency whatsoever - she endures whatever happens and every once in a while she fights to survive, but she doesn't make a single relevant decision.
- it's absurd to me, that she is written as an intelligent, math loving character, but has not a single logical thought and comes to not a single relevant conclusion
- the true identity of the MC is a big reveal at the end of the book - but it's already written in the summary - either change the summary (and title) of the book or don't use that information as a major reveal - it's just annoying
- the language is the language of an 17 year old chronically online tiktok user - could be tolerable for the MC but not for all these bad boys that are supposed to be teachers, politicians and strategically acting grown ups
- MC is very consistent, that she doesn't want to get touched in any way, but in the end that changes on a whim and she loses her virginity in a threesome with two people she hates/fears

overall: very disappointed and I don't get the hype at all. that book would have needed a good editor

I do like enemies to lovers. I love "who did this to you!?!" and the female narrator nails her character in a way that compensates for a lot. Sadly, this isn't enemies to lovers as much as it's enemies to rapists. So much squick in the last two hours, it really wasn't fun.
