Jordan delivers the second piece of his „12 rules edition“, further expanding on the knowledge that he delivered on his first edition. He tried to balance out some his standpoints from the first book, so that you get a rounder picture of the authors standpoint in the end. However, he does it without backing up from his original opinions, which I appreciate a lot. His ability to deliver archaic, religious stories and modernly transform them so that our enlightened society can still appreciate them, is simply unique and deserves the utmost respect. As a critic, he might get repetitive on some subjects a couple of times, and if you know his lectures and his podcasts truly well, you might argue that you didnt learn that much more from what you already knew (although he definately expands his main points and also delivers new ones as well).
Jordan is an exceptionally articulate person, so his reading voice is very comfortable and nice to hear.
I recommend this book for Peterson admirers, but also for people who dont like him. I think it is a more digestible and less controversial book than the first one.
However, if you are (irrationally) completely disgusted and adversed by religious meanings and symbols, dont get into this book, that wouldnt be worth it.
