Thank you for your witty humor and sharp analysis of this seminal film!
My only complaint is that I still have 4 and a half hours left on my train ride, in which I now have to resort to some other form of light entertainment to procrastinate work.
Maybe I should have made made the headline more negative to catch your attention, only to later reveal that I actually really enjoyed listening to your book. Anyway hope you are on the big fat quiz of 2019!

Pity brings points as well
It is a very well researched but irrelevant topic. I enjoyed the view behind the culisses of his live and where his personality origined.
But it is priceless in giving me the opportunity to hear the least sexy but prudish man talk about sex and saying the word cunt. That is now my new ringtone.

Wonderful insight into Richard Ayoades unique mind
A book on a movie noone saw? Sounds like a perfect premise for a book! Richard Ayoade not only takes apart the movie "A View From The Top" scene by scene but sprinkles his analysis with references to his own life and makes it the most astonishing analysis of life, the universe and everything. And as usual does it "with a straight face". I giggled throughout. :) What a wonderfully outlandish insight into his complicated and unique mind.

Simply stunning
Haven’t read anything on this book, let alone the description, I was somewhat surprised, but soon also very involved and delighted. It’s a good read (or listen) whether tired, traveling or indeed very very drunk.
