As an Austrian native I was especially interested in this book, which takes place in Vienna. Unfortunately the Vienna which is described here, has very little to do with this vibrating and wonderful city. No Viennes would be seen dead at the Café Central, which has been rebuilt only about 30 years ago and has nothing to do with the wonderful place it used to be. The story is nicely crafted and entertaining as usual. And, I may add: Vienna has more to offer than Apfestrudel, Guglhupf, Klimt and Lipizzaner horses, trust me - much more. 😉
