I have worked my way steadily through the audio versions of this series as they've been published. It's taken a while. What excellent story telling, beyond comparison really, the layers and layers of complexity and deep narrative. Truly a masterpiece.

My only, somewhat double-edged 'criticism' (for want of a better word) is that by the time I got to chapter 105 I was wondering how much longer can this go on.......? By the time I got to chapter 118 I was shouting for it all to stop!! Enough already. And now that I've finished it, and there isn't a further novel in sight, I'm disappointed. Oh well, hopefully Fritha's child will cause some trouble ☺️
