Die Sprecherin von den ersten 2 Bänden hatte mit viel besser gefallen. Der Anfang vom Buch war noch spannend, die Kriegschroniken danach- weniger. Auch die Charaktere und deren Handlungen nicht mehr so stimmig, wie in den Büchern davor. Da aber Band 2 mit einem Cliffhanger endet ist Buch 3 trotzdem ein muss…

I have to admit this book is my favourite so far from the series and it has a lot to do (also) with the narrator. I love the story, too. This series is certainly getting better and better and I will start the next volume immediately!

It’s safe to say, that after I finished this book I needed an entire hour! to get myself back together! I have no clue how often I wrote fu*k in my notes. Like … what the hell?
I laughed, I cried and now I need a nap. Sarah knows what she’s doing and she delivered!

I really came to dislike all the sex scenes, the "crude gestures" and the sacrificing and dying and coming back to life repetitions. But I like the idea of the story and the world that has been created for the characters. The end of this trilogy was also satisfying as it left some things open and issues unsolved which made it feel very real.

Sarah J Mass does an amazing job at writing war, the scenery was incredible and it felt like something coming to life. The audio was also incredibly well performed! This is my favorite book in the series.
