Ich musste dieses Hörbuch abbrechen, da die Sprecherin so monoton vorliest, dass es super schwer ist die Stimmen voneinander zu unterscheiden. Kann die dramatized Hörbücher SEHR empfehlen.

I have read this series and I was so in love with it that I had to listen to it, too. Beautiful story, magical world, surprising plot twists. Exciting, romantic, cruel. For everyone who loves faerie worlds and fantasy. And the best part is that it is a series and you can keep diving into this faerie world.

It's a good book, with a good series, but like all series of Sarah, it was hard to get into the story and the world. But especially the ending gets you excited for the second book!!!

I loved the book and liked the narrator. An adventurous fantasy love story that I would absolutely recommend! I finished it within 24 hours :D It's not the most complex world or plot but it's interesting, fun, emotional and relatable It took me on a journey which is exactly what I love so much about books. I liked the many artistic notes and the painting aspect because I am an artist too. How she is fascinated by colours and light, thinking about how to capture theses feelings on canvas - very relatable :) It's true, the riddle is super easy (very obvious) but I dont mind her not getting it. After all, she has a less academic background with little education and admits to being bad at riddles. Her skills lie elsewhere.
Definitely worth listening to!

i was procrastinating reading the book since years until i came across the audio book! the narrator did a fabulous job of switching the voices and making us feel different characters. as ofr the story, it's a typical girl meeting mysterious fantasy creature, hate to love Romance but it's enticing.
if you are someone stuck in a reading rut, this one is the cure.
a little bit of spice and lust and lot of secrets.

what a waste of precious time

The beginnings of most scenes are missing, disturbing the flow of the story. The voice acting was ok, even though she was a little emotionless and the male voices were hard to differentiate.
The writing had some flaws, overusing crutch words and adverbs. The main character is swinging wildly between component and stupid, for plot convince. Her character is starting where she ends up and it's frustrating to read the autor striping the character of any progress she made.
The whole plot seemed pointless!
The way of sensory overload was close to the autistic experience, but it was a slow, agonizing listening/reading along.

I like the voice of Jennifer Ikeda. And she truly makes a good job. But Fyre the Protagonist hurts me so much. She is painfully dum. I heard that’s the second book is better then this one but it was a journey trough thorny roses listening to this book.

I like the writing style and the detail how the author writes the book. But the World is shallow and I have the feeling to glittery for my taste (I don’t know how to describe it) the world feels off. The people feel off. I’m not drawn towards the characters they just are there. No life. There decisions make no sense and are driven to make the plot a plot not because you think it’s the logical way to do. There was no time in this book where I thought :“yes I would do the same“ accept maybe killing the wolf.

In Short the story lacks something.
The Protagonist behaves with no Common sense. And I mean that not in a good way.
And the world is shallow.
