Intriguing start

While the beginning was amazing (Beaut and the Best) I am not sure I like where this is beaded, but I am curious now to see what happens next. Certainly a very unexpected twist in the story that kept me on my toes.

Ganz gut

Ganz gute storyline, bin aber nicht der größte Fan vom Hauptcharakter, da sie manchmal unklüger handelt, als sie eigentlich ist, Gedanken echt lange ausführt und mir manchmal zu weinerlich ist.

Must listen!

I have read this series and I was so in love with it that I had to listen to it, too. Beautiful story, magical world, surprising plot twists. Exciting, romantic, cruel. For everyone who loves faerie worlds and fantasy. And the best part is that it is a series and you can keep diving into this faerie world.

I LOVED THIS BOOK SM

I really enjoyed the story and all the characters! I wished for the male characters to be sycronized by males but other than that, it was a very enjoyable experience! Would 100/100 recommend😇

Schön zum versinken aber nicht überraschend

Das Hörbuch hat mir gefallen,

Sprecherin sehr angenehm und dem Storyleitfaden von Beauty and the beast treu geblieben. Eine schöne Welt in die man hier entführt wird, auch wenn ich selten einer Meinung mit der Protagonistin war ;) aber das war ja vlt Absicht.
Nichts, was ich nicht erwartet hätte, und trotzdem eine tolle Geschichte und ein farbenfroher Erzählstil. Prima.

Ugh - beautiful story with so much depth and surprises

I am sad that this book is over. I would have loved to go on and on.
Jennifers Voice is wonderful and speaks to the energy of each scene so well.

The First Book in a new series

It's a good book, with a good series, but like all series of Sarah, it was hard to get into the story and the world. But especially the ending gets you excited for the second book!!!

Holding out hope

This book was so hyped and I was looking forward to it a lot. Unfortunately, as much as I wanted to, I didn't love it. I do like the premise, but the main character was annoyingly stupid (I mean, the riddle she was supposed to solve to save them all was SO obvious and easy that everything happening after it bothered me to a point that I couldn't let it go) and the love story was predictable and cheesy if not even cringeworthy at times.
I absolutely didn't like the narrator and I think that I might have liked the main character a bit better if the narrator hadn't been so extremely annoying, but there is no telling now.
Finally, what redeemed to book a bit for me is the character of rhys and his and feyra's chemistry that was so much more interesting and convincing than that between her and tam. This is also the reason why I ordered the 2nd installment of the series (this time to read and not to listen to, honestly I can't take the bored and slow rendition of the story even for another second) in the hopes of maybe finding more rhys/feyra in there and a little more depth and character development. Fingers crossed.

Die Geschichte an sich ist süß. Aber ich konnte mich mit den Hauptcharakteren einfach nicht anfreunden.
Noch nicht mal dass sie unsympathisch waren.
Eher konnte ich ihre Handlungen oft nicht nachvollziehen. Die Wandlung ihrer Gefühle im Verlauf des Buches waren meines Erachtens nach nicht wirklich erklärt und somit hat die Autorin den Leser etwas außen vor gelassen und (mir) damit die Chance genommen mich in die Personen hineinzuversetzen.
Die Stimme der Vorleserin mit der Sie die Hauptfigur spricht war mir persönlich unsympathisch. Das hat nicht dazu beigetragen die Figur mehr zu mögen.
