• Your Egg Thawing Party: What Happens When it's Time for the Big Unfreeze?
    Oct 30 2025
Egg freezing is IVF without the F. You go through a standard cycle of In Vitro Fertilization in which you take hormone shots that stimulate the growth of eggs. A doctor like me then extracts your eggs through a simple surgical procedure, and I work with an embryologist to preserve your eggs in liquid nitrogen until you're ready to use them.

So the big question is what happens now that you're ready to use your eggs? In other words, what are the steps towards fertilization (or as I like to say, what the F?)

    Step 1. Locate Your Eggs
Step 2: Decide if you want to unfreeze all your eggs.
Step 3. Complete Your Preconception Testing (follow the TUSHY Method)
Step 4: Complete Your Infectious Disease Labs
    Step 5: Implantation Testing
Step 6: Make Embryos (and decide if you want to do genetic testing on your embryos)
Step 7: Decide Whether You Want to Transfer Fresh or Frozen Embryos

  • Egg Freezing Party with Dr. Aimee
    Oct 28 2025
Egg Freezing parties are safe and surgery-free gatherings of women (and sometimes men) to learn more about the process of freezing your eggs (or sperm). Beyond that, we talk in general about fertility and how every woman (and man) can take a proactive role in preserving their fertility options.

There is humor. There is honest talk. Most importantly, you will learn about clear steps you can take after the party is over. This is not merely an information session, this is meant to inspire action!

  • Top 5 IVF Setbacks and How to Reframe Them to Stay Hopeful
    Oct 27 2025
In this episode of The Egg Whisperer Show, I'm diving into one of the most important parts of the IVF journey: how to cope with setbacks. IVF can be frustrating, emotional, and downright hard. But it can also be empowering, educational, and full of possibility. I'm walking you through the five most common IVF challenges, and offering tools to help you reframe them so you can move forward feeling hopeful and in control.

We'll talk about what happens when your cycle gets delayed, when your follicles don't grow as expected, and what to do when the numbers (eggs, embryos, blastocysts) don't go your way. I'll also share real patient stories and offer perspective on how to stay grounded and supported through every twist in the journey.

    In this episode, we cover:
    • Why IVF cycles sometimes start with delays, and how to use that time productively
    • What to do if your follicles don't grow or respond to medication as expected
    • How to cope with fewer eggs retrieved or fertilized than hoped
    • What to know if embryo development or testing results don't go as planned

  • Trying to Conceive? What Parents-to-Be Need to Know About Parkinson's and Environmental Toxins with Dr. Ray Dorsey of The Parkinson's Plan
    Oct 22 2025
In this episode, I'm honored to welcome Dr. Ray Dorsey, a renowned neurologist, researcher, and author of the New York Times bestseller, The Parkinson's Plan. Together, we dive into the critical topic of Parkinson's Disease, now the fastest growing neurological disorder in the world, and explore how environmental toxins (rather than aging or genetics), are fueling its rise. Dr. Dorsey shares his expertise on how exposures, even as early as in utero, can increase the risk of Parkinson's and other serious conditions, and offers practical steps families can take to protect themselves and future generations. Throughout our conversation, we discuss the broader themes of environmental health, fertility, and advocacy. We explore the science behind how early-life exposures can plant the seeds for neurodegenerative diseases, the importance of shifting our understanding from genetics to environment, and the actionable ways we can reduce risk. • This is Fertility Mythbusting
    Oct 21 2025
I do this with my patients all the time.

There's a lot of truth-telling that goes on in my office, and often myth-busting is necessary to get to the truth.

Perhaps you can relate — there are so many headlines and hearsay stories about fertility. Do you struggle to disseminate between what is evidence-based and what is not?

I don't care where you live or who your doctor is. My goal is to share what I know in the event that it's even the tiniest bit helpful to you and your fertility journey.
