This one was nice. Cheese but nice.
Romance with not much action but really nicely written. I loved the characters.

I can recommend this book to everyone who prefers more realistic love stories with sad and uplifting emotions. I could connect easiliy with the loyal charakter of Liv... The story itself appeared realistic and well develped to me, but lacked some complexity (compared to other impressive books I read).

This was a sweet second chance romance with some heartbreaking moments.
The main characters are in their late 20s. They have known each other since they were kids.
Audiobook narration by Teddy Hamilton and Meg Sylvan was top notch.

God, I hate these types of main characters. Whiny, shallow, forever stuck in high-school. All she ever does is cry, or create worst-case-scenarios in her head. No initiative, nothing interesting, not one decisive move. And yet she's supposedly so "courageous", so "strong" (rolling my eyes here). I lost count of the times I heard "after all I've/we've been through". Yes, I get it. It was traumatic. But what the hell? All she does to "get on with her life" after years is pick up where she left off, with no more maturity than she had as a 21 year old?! Not even the words she reads at her wedding are her own.

The title was what I liked best
