This one is the best of the Vampire Chronicles. IWTV was very nice gothic horror but it missed the queer campiness TVL serves. The story is intriguing enough but you'll love or hate this book not for the plot but for its characters. Lestat especially is at his peak too, being his most likable self. I also love Armand's voice.
