Mir erging es nicht anders als den meisten anderen Hörern: Diese wunderbare Geschichte hat mich durch die letzten Tage begleitet und mich in Tränen aufgelöst zurück gelassen. Ich will das Ende auch nicht verraten, daher nur so viel: Die Geschichte ist furchtbar traurig und furchtbar schön und man spürt sie noch lange nachklingen. Sehr gute Sprecherauswahl. Für mich eines der schönsten Hörbücher bei Audible.

Wunderschöne Geschichte

I am 50 year old male surgeon and I have seen some things in my live. I am not easy to impress. But the final two words of the story - not counting "the end" - opened the gates and it had me in tears. I am not telling, it it was tears of joy or tears of pain. This story was a companion for the last couple of days on my commute and it took me to New York, Brooklyn, Jamaica and Korea. It made me happy and it made me sad. I took part in this one special day of a couple of people, not only the two main protagonists. It's not only the story, that captivated me, the narrators are perfectly casted and they projected images in my head that will accompany me for quite some time. One of the best audiobooks I ever listened to!
