Hardly able to finish the brutal readers in the first volume (which was a great Elly Griffiths!!!), I thought I should still give this one a go.
What can I say? One hour into the story and I can hardly stop listening! Elly Griffiths is her usual brilliant self, the narrator couldn't be any more suitable and me, I'm likely to do nothing but listen until the book is finished.
Amazing work.

Obwohl es als "cozy crime" bezeichnet wurde, hatte ich mir aufgrund der anderen Renzensionen doch ein wenig mehr Spannung erhofft. Es ist kein Buch, das einen mit Cliffhangern atemlos weiterhören lässt, sondern lebt von seinen vielen liebevollen Charakteren und ist wirklich gut gelesen. Es ist ein "altmodischer" Krimi im besten Sinne, der gut unterhält.

Ich liebe die Ruth Galloway Bücher und muß sagen das mir diese neue Serie sehr gut gefällt. Die Sprecherin ist sehr gut und ich habe es sehr genossen das Buch zu hören.

How a group of people become friends over trying to solve some crimes.

One of the best narrators ever! You have the feeling to see, feel and especially hear all the different people and characters and can smell the salty air at the sea side and it is easy to imagine the places the books takes you to.
