Many Layers, many Characters -Confusing in my view

I am a big fan of Daniel Silva's Books, heave heard all of them. So I was curious about "The other Woman". Actually at some points I wanted to stop listening - it was just too confusing for me. Too many characters, layers of plots upon layers. Without question amazingly intelligent - but at least I couldn't follow all the time, was confused quite often. I listened untill the end - the story is good. But next time please more easy...
