Eric H. Cline outlines greek history from archaic times up to hellenistic Greece under Alexander's successor. His main focus lies on political history with excursions into political theory of democracy and political systems of Greek City States (Poleis), He does so in a very clean manner, that is easy to listen and easy to understand. I definitely appreciate his narrative focus, which is easy to understand - even for me as a non native English speaker.

By matter of content this audio book is mostly focused onto beginners and intermediate experienced participants. So it serves as an introduction to political history of early greece.
