This book should be read by those who already understand the damaging path we are following as well as by those who still follow too much the narrative that the current state of the world is the best we can get. We can change the system if enough of us understand that there are alternatives which we can aspire to and that the economic world of today is not the only option.

Some parts of the book summarized and brought together very concisely what I already knew about neoliberalism, others showed new aspects which I haven’t seen before. In the final chapters a perspective is given for the future and a possible way forward. Despite knowing parts of the contents and even suggestions already I was deeply touched.

I recommend the book to anyone who wants a change in today’s world.
