I lose sleep when I start an Lj shen book . I giggle right through the book because the banter is so so good & I’m usually consumed by the characters and captivated by the stories she writes and how they land to me . This one wasn’t mind blowing . It was decent enough . This is the first of all her books that I’ve read that took me more than 48hours to complete . Narration is brilliant . Zero critic there . This one is good but it’s no dirty headlines or bad bishop !!! It’s enjoyable but not perfection

Holy hell. Y‘all this was 🔥🔥🔥. I mean the beginning alone was insane, the banter and hunter‘s inner monologue was hilarious. Honestly, top notch Humor. Cillian was brilliant, too and I really enjoyed all the domestic scenes and watching the friendship between the girls. Hunter taking care of Sailor? Yes please. The spice was high quality (I blushed so hard Jesus) and I adored the narrators. I think Virginia Rose even had a Boston accent? And Jason Clarke is obviously amazing.

Leute, wer weiss es, war das mal eine Merlin Fanfiction? Wenn nicht, super geschrieben, hat mich sofort zurueckversetzt in die Zeit, in der man endlos AO3 gebrowst hat, um die perfekte Geschichte zu finden.

It took me 'til the last trimester of the book to feel the characters, but in the last third I got fully into it. Before that it was also humorous, but also annoying sometimes. Some recommendation I want to make if you want to read the book: Don't take it to seriously🤭 The Hunter has similiar vibes as Paper Princess - a little bit excessive, over-subscribed, but also very entertaining if you can deal with it. I really liked that vibe🥰 I struggled with Sailor and how she was described in the first half of the book. In the second half I began to get along with her and she also had (finally) a lot of character development. I liked Hunter from the beginning - his chapters always made me smile or laugh.

Ps: I'm excited to read Cillians Story. I liked his way in this book, he totally has my sense of humor. Can't wait for more!
