Very insightful & inside information.

I started this book because of the events happening at the seventh. of October 2023, and because i wanted to understand more of the conflict, its history and how this situation came about
This book certainly answered these questions for me. It compiles the history of more than 100 years of Palestinian territory and Israel in a manner that is compelling to listen to, even though the attrocities commited are unfathomable, yet not diminishing the cruelty of it
I also liked how it was read. I could listen to the audiobook while i did my chores, and could follow the book easily, was not bored at all by all the numbers, as they were well embeded within the text and context.
A must read for the historic background of Palestine/Israel imo

The Reader speaks very clear and the language is very understandable even for non-native English speakers.
Sometimes I had the feeling that it was a bit redundant. But it opens up another view on the happenings around the foundation of Israel.

Excellently researched, honest and brave. A must read for anyone trying to understand the Israeli-Palestine researched. But beware; It's been a very tough read that made me cry several times.

Das Buch gibt einen sehr guten Einblick in die Situation in Gaza. Mit einigen Spekulationen in die Zukunft die, wie wir heute wissen, leider zutreffend sind.
