Ich würde die Geschichte zwar nicht als Meisterwerk bezeichnen, aber in der Masse der mittelmäßigen Büchern in diesem Genre ist die Geschichte auf jeden Fall ein kleiner Lichtblick. Der Sprecher ist auch sehr angenehm. Er gibt jedem Charakter, eine ausreichend differenzierte Stimme, ohne es bei der Betonung zu übertreiben. Bin gerade am Ende des dritten Buches, und die Motivation, die Story zu Ende zu hören, hat bis jetzt nicht nachgelassen, ist sogar eher stärker geworden. Wenn man „OP Protagonist“ nicht als Makel sieht, sondern aktiv danach schaut macht die Geschichte auf jeden Fall spass.
Das Audiobook lag lange in meiner Wunschliste, wegen dem einen 2 Sterne Review. Bin letztendlich froh, dass ich das Guthaben ausgegeben hab.

Gute Geschichte wenn auch etwas generisch erinnert sehr an "The way of the healer" oder "The Order of the Architect"

The MC and main SC have to pracc some communication-skills. Lacking infos, kinda weak worldbuilding.
Overall interesting, but no 5 stars. The MC is luckily not stupid, but also not the smartest.

Same goes for the narrator..

its not bad and can be used to fill some time inbetween ur fav. series.

Narrator was ok.

Story was very disappointing.
Protagonist awakes after 1000 year slumber and finds everyone has forgotten and his type of magic, necromancy,

He finds a hot but naive female descendant. She is a total magnet for arrogant young masters because every male character they meet fits into the archetype. at the start of every fight, the reader gets reminded that the protagonist is only at a fraction of his former power and has to be careful. He then proceeds to win every fight with no challenge at all by dodging every attack and pulling an awesome new aspect of his magic out of nowhere.
Every social encounter is the same. With his awesome experience, he has a perfect read on every character and always gets what he wants.
No tension in the story. It just ends somewhere, probably to continue in the next book without me.
