Just before the coming wave, which we do not know how powerful and high it will be, the author draws our attention to many aspects that most of us do not even have on the radar and helps us grasp the impact or even to estimate their influence on our personal lives and humanity in general. The audio book is very well spoken and the language has a positive aura throughout.

Repetitive and meaningless

Ich bin selber KI-Forscher und hatte aufgrund des Autors einen erfrischenden Blick auf KI erwartet. Leider bestätigt das Buch wieder einmal melne negative Sicht auf populärwissenschaftliche Literatur in diesem Fach.

Wie in fachfremden Medien üblich, wird auch hier ausgiebig vor den angeblich großen Risiken gewarnt. Das ist grundsätzlich durchaus wichtig - wie bei allen Technologien. Allerdings ist es bei KI so ausgelutscht und wird in einem Übermaß betrieben, dass es definitiv kein weiteres Buch gebraucht hätte.

Letztlich gibt es bei KI die gleiche Dual Use Problematik wie bei Mobiltelefonen, dem Internet oder dem Buchdruck.

Dass der Autor behauptet, dieses Thema finde in der öffentlichen Diskussion kaum Beachtung, lässt mich daran zweifeln, dass er diese wirklich verfolgt.

Ein Buch, das die Welt nicht braucht.
