Es bereitete der Autorin merkbar Spaß, die traditionellen Muster bis zur Parodie zu verändern. Das ist immer wieder sehr amüsant und wird von Imogen Church auch sehr gut erzählt. Trotzdem bleibt die Geschichte dem Original in der Grundstruktur treu und bringt zusätzlich die Jagd nach dem Ripper hinein. Irgendwie passt das nicht.
