Pleasant Stories of the youth of Numair. No great suspension but lovely to hear. For all fans of Tamora Pierce and her stories of Tortall

Numair - the beginning

Abrupt ending but amusing story of growing up and life of young Arram. Lovely to encounter old character favourites and discover new facets packed in a book true to the style of the previous stories. Soothing narrator with fun voice adjustments. Very eager for the next book.

Wer wie ich die Geschichten aus der Tortall-Welt von Tamora Pierce liebt, wird auch dieses Buch gerne hören und miterleben, was der spätere Zauberer Numair in seiner Jugend erlebt. In diesem Buch trifft man auf jeden Fall einige liebe Bekannte wieder und erhält Hintergrundwissen zu früheren Romanen, die zeitlich später im Tortall-Universum spielen. Schade, dass die Fortsetzung dieses Romans dann nun doch nicht mehr erschienen ist, ich hätte sie gerne gelesen.

very boring, didn't notice a climax. Everytime I thought it is getting exciting, the tension quickly faded and the charackters returned to their school routine.
