Das ist auch schon so ziemlich die einzige Kritik, die ich habe: Das Hörbuch ist zu kurz.
Ansonsten ist es alles, was man von Lauren Graham erwartet: Schnell, witzig, ehrlich und so nah dran an Lorelai, dass es einfach nur schön ist. Für mich, die nach den neusten Folgen etwas enttäuscht war, der perfekte Abschied von den Gilmore Girls. Alle Nicht-Gilmore-Girls-Gucker werden aber sicher auch ihren Spaß dran haben.

Als würde man Lauren Graham beim Geschichtenerzählen zuhören, ein fantastisches Buch mit Weisheiten, lustigen Anekdoten und einer tollen Sprecherin!

Great entertainment for all Gilmore Girls fans

I can only recommend it!
However it should be noted that one ought to be well acquainted with the Gilmore Girls Series for it is (as the title says) a main part of the book. It’s very nice to listen to since it’s narrated by Lauren Graham herself. If you like a funny and speedy entertainment then this is for you!!

And talking fast she did …

Just like I hoped for the book to be. Of course she reminds me of the favorite character we probably love but beyond that it was a easy listen and a well written book. Her narrating brought it all together and I found myself reacting to the things she would tell - almost like talking to someone on the phone. It’s the details I appreciate especially about the show. Would recommend to anyone that is a GG fan.

Für echte Gilmore Girls

Da ich die Serie liebe war mir klar, dass ich das Buch anhören werde. Es ist leichte Kost und es ist toll, dass Lauren Graham selbst das Buch einliest. Jedoch bezieht sie sich oft auf Bilder aus dem Buch bzw. nimmt manchmal Aufzählungen o.Ä. vor, was man beim Hören schwer nachvollziehen kann.
Ich bereue es nicht, es gekauft zu haben, jedoch hat es mich auch nicht total umgehauen ;)

Back in Stars Hollow

I loved listening to all the behind the scenes stories that Lauren talks about. Furthermore, the fact that Lauren tells the story herself, it makes the audiobook so much better. It would have not been right if another speaker would have narrated the story.

It really is the role of the life time and Lauren Graham does a fantastic job in giving you the feeling that she’s actually talking to you (and that you are her best friend). It’s like listening to Lorelai, or even better because Lauren Graham is not fictional. It was such an easy listen and I enjoyed it so much and it makes me like „Gilmore Girls - A year in a life“ so much more. I’m not sure if it’s as enjoyable if you’re not a fan, but i would recommend it to every Gilmore Girls follower.

Sehr amüsant und angenehm bodenständig und offen. lässt sich auch mit nicht so perfekten Kenntnissen in englisch super hören!

Ein Muss für alle Gilmore Girls Fans

Vorne weg: Ich würde mich selbst als einen der größten GG-Fans aller Zeiten bezeichnen. Ich kann nicht sagen, wie oft ich die Serie genau gesehen hab, aber die DVDs zeigen schon erhebliche Abnuzungserscheinungen ;-)

Für alle, die sich in diesem Statement wiedererkennen, kann ich das Hörbuch nur wärmstens empfehlen. Es geht nicht nur um GG, aber zu einem sehr großen Teil und man erfährt interessante und lustige Hintergrundinfos zur ursprünglichen Serie, sowie zur Fortsetzung.

Wer die Serie nicht gesehen hat (worauf wartet ihr??), kann trotzdem seinen Gefallen an dem Hörbuch finden, da Lauren Graham auch von ihrem Leben vor und nach GG erzählt - und das auf eine sehr unterhaltsame und doch nachdenkliche Art und Weise.
