This book series is no masterpiece but I am having a good time reading it. Performances was great!

That’s my second time listening to this book. I couldn’t finish it the first time because I really can’t understand why the main character Darcy is acting so insecure. It really makes no sense to me after the first two books.

After the first two, this one was disappointing

I loved the first few books of the series but it's getting quite repetitive and a clear story arch is missing. The narrator chosen to read Darius part is a poor match - he sounds like a angry old man rather than the 20yo he's supposed to portray. don't follow my example and stop the series at this point. it's not getting better.

Dragged out story

vorab ich liebe diese Serie, aber ich muss den Kommentaren Recht geben. die Bücher davor waren eindeutig besser. dieses Buch war nur Drama und Stress das es kaum auszuhalten war. ich hätte mir so sehr eine Atempause gewünscht, wo Mal nicht alles den Bach runter geht. das Buch endet mit so derartigen schlimmen cliffhangers das ich die kompletten Details bis zum Ende aller zukünftigen Büchern googeln musste um zu wissen wie die Geschichte ausgeht. das ist mir um Leben nicht passiert. aber ich musste es für meinen Seelenfrieden tun, um ein bisschen das Gefühl zu haben das nicht alles das worst Case cenario bis zum bitteren Schluss bleibt. leider wird es so wahrscheinlich in den zukünftigen Büchern weiter gehen bzw noch schlimmer werden. trotzdem hat mich die Geschichte von zodiac academy so in den Bann gezogen das ich weiter hören wäre. die Autorinn kann auf jedenfall spannend schreiben. es wäre nur schön gewesen ein bisschen weniger Spannung zu haben für das wohl meines Herzens. und eine etwas weniger nervige Tory plus eine mehr passende Stimme für Darius.

the romance between Darcy and Lance is appalling and seems to go in circles, same goes for Darius and Tory, no development at all. I don't see how any of this is supposed to be entertaining, I basically have to skip every other chapter, the only thing enjoyable are the Tory/ Caleb scenes and the rare scenes where the twins are actually interacting with the rest of the school instead of just Darius/ Lance. The voice of Darius is also a nightmare...
