Am relevantesten
Its pretty different from the movie but at the same time not at all. The energy is the same but the details changed, same writing different font and all. If you like the Characters in the movie, you might now like them in the original, they can be stubborn and vile at times.

The magic is just perfect, just close enough to real witchcraft to make something perk up in my witchy brain and not flashy enough to be a full on fantasy novel, feels subtle at times.

I loved the dynamics between the characters and everyone was so fleshed out and realistic, that it was a true pleasure to read. In my opinion Hoffman captures the essence of womanhood and the devine feminine like no one else. Reading this is truly an experience to be kept close to one's heart.

Entgegen einiger Meinungen auf Goodreads fand ich das Buch deutlich besser als den Film - obwohl ich den Film auch sehr mag. Die Charaktere haben mehr Tiefgang, die Geschichte ist weniger kitschig und einfach nur magisch.
