I have to admit I only bought this because of the narrators.
Lots of 🐓🐓🐓 and shafts, sexual inuendo from page one, little story, the angst was constructed. But the voices of Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan ❤.
At the beginning I had my problems seeing Teddy Hamilton as the bodygard and not the other way round.

Rock star romances are usually not my jam, but I decided to give this one a try — and it absolutely did not disappoint. This is hands down the best rock-star romance I’ve read, and I think it’s because Stone feels so normal and grounded. He’s not the stereotypical eccentric, hard-partying, commitment-phobic rockstar. Yes, he’s a bit of a player in the beginning, but in a genuinely decent, respectful way. He’s kind-hearted, eats clean, avoids drugs and alcohol, and treats his people well.

Then enters the world’s hottest bodyguard, Jackson — focused, protective, professional… and secretly harboring a massive crush on his boss. Stone, meanwhile, has no idea, convinced Jackson is straight as an arrow. Until one moment, one admission, and everything shifts.

This is a low-angst, low-drama romance with big feelings, great banter, a slow burn that pays off, and plenty of delicious spice woven throughout.

And the narration? Truly next level. It elevates the entire experience by a hundred. When two of my all-time favorite narrators perform together, I listen. Period. Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan are a dream team. The way they embody the characters makes the story feel intimate, emotional, and alive. Jacob captures Stone’s charm, warmth, and sincerity so well, while Teddy brings the perfect mix of control, vulnerability, and quiet yearning to Jackson. Their chemistry is unreal — you feel it in every line.
The duet-style bonus epilogues were the cherry on top. Unexpected, beautifully delivered, and honestly worth the listen on their own.

I really enjoyed this story. Both MMCs are layered, relatable, and easy to root for from the start, but the audiobook elevated the entire experience.
