Very important book about freedom
The second On Ukraine part brougt me to tears where the author was talkinig about his friends in Ukraine. in the book it was well shown why we must fight for our freedom and learn history.

Deeply insightful and wise
This audiobook (read by the author himself, who has a very pleasant and sympathetic voice, very understandable even for non-native speakers) had shed light for me on the historic background of the war Russia has wreaked on the Ukrainian country and people. It may help understand the reasoning of the Russian tyrant, and it also may help us to look behind the pretty facade of social media, to see through manipulation, agitation and propaganda. If I could, I'd give it more than 5 stars. THANK YOU!

Very thoughtful reflections on history and democra
the notion of politics of eternity and inevitability will stick with me and provide a great guide to current events from a western perspective. Mr Snyder is a highly empathetic thinker.
