It’s chilling how the story seems to reflect so much of what we have experienced in the last two years of the pandemic. Beautiful storyline. The goodness in humanity is highlighted as we all have seen happen during the pandemic. The narration was amazing.

Eine wundervolle Geschichte. Nach der Hälfte des Buches wollte ich unter die Prepper gehen - aber das Ende lässt mich hoffen, dass die Menschheit besser ist, als die Pessimist*innen denken.

Zusammenhalt in einem Dorf in Cornwall in der Krise mit vielen liebenswerten Charakteren.
Super geschrieben, cleverer Storyaufbau, lehrreich, interessant, mit Herz, gutes Ende
Auch in Corona gab es viele Beispiele von Nachbarschaftshilfe
Vielleicht wird ja doch nicht jeder zum Mörder für ein Brot, wenn es nichts mehr zu Essen gibt.....
Macht Hoffnung
Und vielleicht sollte man den Rat der Bundesregierung aufgreifen und sich Wasservorrat und haltbares Essen für einige Wochen besorgen.... und noch etwas für den kranken Nachbarn....

Lange nicht mehr solch ein gutes Buch gehört. Der Sprecher DAVID Thorpe ist fantastisch. Es ist ein Genuss, ihm zuzuhören.
