This is probably what should have been the final installment of the series. Sadly someone decided to tack on what amounts to a rewrite of every previously established character to shoehorn in some more books.
There is no closure, any potential character development is reversed and the whole thing ends in sort of a whimper.
Brilliant voice acting saves the book.
