Very well structured, very informative, and fun to listen to. Highly recommended! The lectures cover a broad variety of aspects of the brain.

It is a great course. The only problem: He frequently tells the listener to look at a certain image. But why is the image not in the accompanying pdf then? This is sometimes really annoying.

My first thought when I started listening to the audiobook was: attractive choice of topics, well presented by a good speaker. As I progressed, the thought kept coming up: "this can't be right", having read research in recent years that seems to be more advanced than what is presented in the book. While Audible lists 2019 as the first release date, the date of first publication in the Great Courses was 2010. With so many advances in neuroscience since then, I would have strongly recommended the book in 2010, but not now, in 2021.
