I'm the new owner of a magical mansion.

This mansion, well, it's not your typical building. It's a dungeon from another world, masquerading as just another private residence in the suburbs. It has enchanted rooms, can craft powerful items, build lethal traps, and produce incredible monsters.

And it's my mission to protect and evolve its monstrous inhabitants.

Everytime I begin to like the story a bit the protagonist comes up with another braindead thing to say or think.
Also the motivations and reasonings of the characters are so wrong that it hurts, for example it makes absolutely no sense for the dungeon to test its keeper by attacking him, it WOULD makes sense to test his ability to wield this mysterious dungeon power instead. In another example it makes no sense for this government agency to set up a fake date with one of their agents to get him to the dungeon instead of just picking him up from his home with enough personell to actually protect him.

It really feels like not much more thinking than "Pretty woman good!" and "Magic cool!" went into the planing and writing of this story.
